The Olive Garden

The Olives

The century-old trees like figures, whose branches move in the wind with their silver leaves that rustle like thin voices in the fresh morning air and in the golden light of sunset. Powerful and giant olive trees, twisted over the centuries, by time and weather, but rich in fruit that give us a very special olive oil.

The trees are still and stunning in size and posture, seem to move along the green meadows, extending their branches as if wishing to touch each other or as if bending themselves towards the soil to greet the flowers that bloom at their feet, the blue and pale yellow irises, or perhaps as if wishing to pick or just to cuddle them. This is an ancient variety of olive tree the Olivastro Seggianese a native of this area but destined to disappear, due to the difficulties of production, which have precise regulations for the cultivation.

Iceberg

Iceberg

Rose belonging to the floribunda group created in Germany in 1958 by Wilhelm Kordes. It is known to rose lovers as the “flower machine”: the constant flowering of this rose is in fact unparalleled.

Its pure white flowers, which initially have a pinkish nuance, are lightly scented. Being a medium-sized climber the ‘Iceberg’ rose can be grown without problems in a large pot.
